The Office will develop business externally, automatically match technology transfer and licensing, and determines corporate technical demand preliminarily, combine value-added patent products and conducts initial business negotiations.
- Authorizing Licensing Assistance
| Represent the university to assist professors and licensee in negotiation of licensing details. |
| Licensing Method: exclusive or non-exclusive licensing. |
| Licensing Scope: define the technical scope implementability of licensee. |
| Licensing Region: the country or region the licensee can implement the authorized technology. |
| Licensing Period: the time period the licensee can implement the authorized technology. |
| Licensing Fee: amount payable and benefit for the licensee, and payment method |
| Induced Benefit: additional articles such as ratio or amount on calculation of sales, number of machines and profits. |
| Other Addendums: on issues such as derived intellectual property ownership, sub-authorization, cross-licensing, etc. |
- Legal Assistance
To provide fundamental legal reference for professors in industry-academia collaborations and technology transfer businesses, the Center drafts a technology licensing contract template for the use of professors. 1.Non-Disclosure Agreement 2.License and Technology Transfer Agreement
- Contract Review
Provide services on intellectual property related contract review, infringement analysis, problems on breach of contract and negotiation suggestions, so that when the university and professors came upon legal problems, timely clarification and assistance can be received.
